 / Mellyrn / Mallorns
   Name of the great trees with golden flowers brought from Tol Eressëa to Eldalondë in Númenor, and afterwards grown in Lothlórien. Quenya malinornë.

   The famed golden-leaved trees of Lórien, that held their leaves until spring. Though they are commonly called 'mallorns', especially by the Hobbits, the correct Elvish plural is mellyrn.
